The Closer To The Bone – Louis Prima
Last Saturday night we made our way to one of the coolest bars I’ve been to in recent times – PCO in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar district. If you haven’t been, you should definitely plan on it. You’ll have to do some investigating first because you can’t just walk into this place. Modelled on the speakeasies that were popular during the Prohibition Era in America in the 1920s, you have to call in advance to get a code which you punch in to the nondescript-looking phone booth, to gain access to the place. Once inside there are elaborate cocktails, super bar snacks (cheesy french fries anyone?) and an excellent soundtrack to go with it all. That’s where I heard this great song.
Die Antwoord – Ugly Boy
I am fascinated and terrified–in equal measure–by these two. And I really like their music. So here you go, their newest release. There are many famous faces in this video. How many can you recognise?
George Ezra – Budapest (Acoustic at Oui FM)
Love his voice and love this acoustic version of his hit.
Meek Mill feat. Lil Boosie – F*** U Mean
For those days when you can’t understand what anyone means 🙂
Alphaville – Forever Young
Another bar, another great soundtrack. I hadn’t heard this one in ages. Still so good.
