Cool Internet Stuff: Vol. 20

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? We’ve got three interesting videos for you in this edition of Cool Internet Stuff – a street documentary, an animated short and a fan film.

Hey You! What Song are you Listening to?
A surprisingly engrossing video. It’s just so cool to see how the people’s musical choices can either match or differ from the picture they present as they walk down the street.

Absolutely fascinating.

Road’s End
I am trying to distance myself from darkness in storytelling (life provides enough, it seems), but this one was all kinds of nice to look at and experience.

Nice character design, nice modeling and animation and some really nice atmosphere. (Did I say ‘nice’ enough times?)

Batman Deliverance
Who doesn’t like a good fan film?

With its intense noir styling, French dialogue and the De Niro-Pacino-esque face-off between two really cool comic book characters, this film exceeds its mildly distracting pacing issues.

I do believe they hold a few shots too long and take too much time to get to the point but this film gets massive style points. Check it out, fans of Batman and Wolverine.

It is worth the time to imagine what such a movie might look like.
